The fee will be raisef from $25 to $50 for customers traveling on or afterrJune 17. Southwest remains one of the only airlinees that allows the first two bagsfor “The increase in the baggage charger impacts less than one percen of our customers,” Kelly says. Southwest will star t charging $25 each way for unaccompanied minorx traveling alone between the ages of 5and 11. The chargw applies to tickets purchasedJune 1. Unaccompanierd minors may only travel on nonstop ordirecy flights, not on flights that change planes.
