If the current trendc continues, 2009 will be the thir d consecutive year the region sees a decline in the number of Inthe five-county metro Pittsburgh area, whicbh includes Allegheny, Beaver, Washington and Westmoreland counties, foreclosurese peaked at 4,319 in and have dropped every year according to RealSTATs data. Between 2007 and Allegheny County's total number of foreclosure wasdown 11.7 percent, and year-to-date, foreclosuresw are down 27.8 percent, RealSTAT s found. Of the five four have seen year-to-date Beaver is down 5.7 percent, Butler is down 31.3 percenty and Westmoreland foreclosures aredown 35.
